The Board

Jason Waldner, Chairman

  After serving on the board for nine years, Jason became chairman in 2020. He brings both business and church leadership skills to the board.
  Jason joined the board because of his burden for serving the families of the students. To him, the school is an opportunity not only to teach children about Jesus Christ but also to form friendships with their parents. He and his wife, Aleda, enjoy hosting school families in their home.
 Jason and Aleda attend Abide Christian Fellowship where he serves as a deacon.

Willy Kleinsasser, Vice-chairman

  Willy joined the board in 2018. As vice-chairman, he finds it a blessing to assist in leading the brothers in discerning God’s will for the school. Willy brings organization and structure to the team.
  Willy’s heart for the students started when he taught Bible to students in an after school program. He desires to see students graduate with purpose and vision.
  The Kleinsassers know that encouraged teachers are more effective in discipling others. They are always available for practical support and spiritual encouragement
 Willy and Elizabeth attend Lockport Christian Fellowship.

James Kleinsasser, Treasurer

  James has been a part of the school board from the beginning. He was there in the summer of 2008 when the school first began.
 James has filled many roles and needs throughout the years, from bus runs, to coffee deliveries or painting.
 James sees tremendous potential in the work of the school for building the Kingdom of God.
 James and Amanda attend Lockport Christian Fellowship with their family.

Paul Waldner

  Paul joined the board as an advisor in 2016. An owner of a successful small business, his advice is greatly appreciated.
 As a member of a local church, he sees the school as a wonderful place for young people to serve in ministry. To him, education is a great opportunity to plant a seed that can change the course of a life: salvation through Jesus Christ.
 The Waldners attend Abide Christian Fellowship.

Quentin Waldner

  Quentin Waldner joined the board at HCS in 2015.
 His technological experience proves invaluable in composing important school documents.
 Quentin joined the board because of a deep desire to contribute to the work in the city.
 He desires to see students become followers of Jesus.By being discipled at school, they can become positive influences for Christ in their homes and communities.
  He and his family attend the Church at Vidir.

Gilbert Kleinsasser

 Gilbert joined the school board in 2012. As an elder in his local church, he is a part of the board primarily to help with setting spiritual direction.
 Gilbert sees the school as an opportunity for young people to grow by serving people of different backgrounds and cultures.
 He and his family attend Lockport Christian Fellowship.
